Dr. Charles Vittitow, better known as Dr. Chaz, grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. His father, a beloved dentist in their hometown for 25 years, served as Dr. Chaz’s main inspiration for pursuing dentistry. After his father sold his practice while Dr. Chaz was in college, he decided he wanted to mirror the kind of community involvement and dedication to patients his father practiced.
After graduating from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, Dr. Chaz was commissioned as an officer in the US Navy, serving five years stationed in San Diego, Sicily, and Whidbey Island.
In his free time, Dr. Chaz enjoys camping with his wife, Karinne, and their four children. You'll also find Dr. Chaz hiking, skiing, cycling, fishing, and playing basketball. Dr. Chaz also loves to try new dining spots, so Bellingham is the perfect town for him!
Growing up in Kentucky, Dr. Chaz loves following college football and basketball and is always up for a pickup game of any sport. He is also passionate about serving his community and beyond, including short term mission trips and partnering with the Renew Northwest.
